Alex Lahasky

Lead Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Steel Guitar, Harmonica, Songwriter

A fan of many genres, Alex's musical niche is difficult to define. From Overland Park, Kansas, Alex co-founded The Tippers in the winter of 2011 with guitarist Brad Phillips and vocalist Mike Andries. Following Andries' departure, he became the band's frontman.

Alex's songwriting influences range from red-dirt contemporaries Stoney Larue and Evan Felker, blues/funk/rock artists including JJ Grey, and the cultish outlaw country circles of Ray Wylie Hubbard and the like. Alex penned every song on the Sunflowers EP released in 2013, as well as each song on The Tippers' 2015 release, "Highways Between Us."

A former college baseball player, Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science education and a Master's degree in American History.
